The building is clad in a floor-to-ceiling Andeer natural stone with textile-looking brick proportions, whose green hue blends with the landscaping. The structure is elevated on a gray natural stone plinth, which is given a design continuation in the surrounding steel clay and fiber cement ceiling crowns, introducing a subtle layering to the building. On the top floor, the volume is indented at the corners, where terraces covered with pergolas break up the structure and enrich the apartments with panoramic views over Lake Zurich.
The building, which is embedded in the terrain, is entered via a generous staircase through an incision in the landscape and provides access to eight apartments. Up to the top floor, these are laid out as maisonettes with an east-west orientation, so that the flowing and open communal living spaces can be oriented towards nature and the view, while the private sleeping quarters are located on another floor as places of retreat.
