The dense structure is placed in the building line of Witikonerstrasse and integrated into the context through various transformation operations by staggering and cantilevering. On the one hand, the oriels and framed balconies make direct design reference to the surrounding buildings and reflect proportions and subjects typical of the quarter; on the other hand, they allow for a very efficient volume.
The clever composition gives the building an entire extra attic floor. The concise facade design, which gives the building integrated into the terrain an almost stoic calm and transfers all volumetric flourishes into a whole, is executed in clinker and vertical grooved plaster.
