The building crouches in the narrow plot on a hillside, so that from Vorderzelgstrasse only the top floor with its front side forms a discreet address.

The right-hand corner of this short side is buckled and houses a subtly integrated car lift in the floor, which, together with two adjoining parking spaces, offers a terrace-like view over the site. The three storeys, each containing an apartment, are slightly set back from the slope towards the south, so that the living spaces can open up on three sides to the garden and the view. The apartments are organized along a central corridor axis in alignment with the slope, so that the bedrooms are aligned east-west.

The bathroom and entrance are articulated with narrower window openings, so that the spatial program is reflected in the facade design. The residential floors culminate in a three-sided glazed southern exposure in a flowing living room with kitchen, which allows the boundaries between inside and outside to flow over the adjoining terraces. On the garden level, the terrace merges into a seamlessly integrated swimming pool in which the south-east corner of the plot is embedded.
