On Werdhölzlistrasse in Zurich, a silver-grey building rises elegantly from a greenish, glazed clinker base with a fine vertical groove structure.

Thanks to its gently structured design, the base merges with the green surroundings, giving the building a lightness that makes it seem to float above the green garden. The facade of the floors above is kept in a neutral gray tone and subtly accentuated by a vertical broom line. An elegant, smooth, lighter plaster band frames the windows, while the balconies and ventilation wings are calmly framed with expanded metal, which gives the entire building an attractive plasticity. With its four floors and a gently sloping sloping roof with knee-highs, which is clad in silver sheet metal, the building is architecturally completed at the top.

The elongated shape of the structure is stepped along the plot to ensure optimal views and exposure. At the same time, enough space is created on the narrow plot to discreetly integrate the garage entrance. The ground floor and attic are designed as urban two-horse buildings, with private seating on the ground floor and the attic apartments each having a roof terrace above. In between there are two floors, each with three compact, urban apartments with balconies, each of which is connected to a flowing living, cooking and dining room.

The elongated shape of the structure is stepped along the plot to ensure optimal views and exposure.
